Eighty percent of German glass-manufacturing enterprises are members of the Federal Association of the German Glass Industry. They include manufacturers of container glass, flat glass, special glass, and glass processing and finishing companies.

At the recent BV Glas conference Dr. Dieter Simon, President & CEO of Auer Lighting, was confirmed another term of two years in his position as chairman of the trade section of utility glass and special glass industry. Likewise, Dr. Simon is elected Vice-President of the executive committee.
