INCORPORATION INTO THE ADLT GROUP

Effective, October 1, 2007, SCHOTT AG sold the Lighting Components Division in Bad Gandersheim, Germany, including all activities. The Bad Gandersheim site will be operated as an independent enterprise. The new company in Germany has been named “Auer Lighting GmbH” with reference to the site’s long-standing traditional company name “Auer”. The entire scope of manufacturing and all existing business relations and contacts in Bad Gandersheim remain unchanged.

Auer Lighting is part of Advanced Lighting Technologies, Inc. (ADLT) with headquarters in Ohio, USA. ADLT is a company with nearly 1,350 employees and with greater than $250 million in sales revenue.
