Innovative material protection provided by Auer Lighting
The ever more frequent use of plastics in the automotive industry means that these components must be increasingly protected from heat and UV radiation. This guarantees the long service life of plastic parts in the front-end area. For separations of visible wavelength ranges, Auer Lighting offers specially tailored UV-/IR edge filters that transmit a selected area of the spectrum whole specifically reflecting other areas. These coatings can be applied to flat filter substrates, as well as to existing components, e.g. lenses.
